Looking Good & Giveaway Winner

Hello Monday! Are you ready for the week ahead? I stumbled out of bed half asleep this morning, but after a strong cup of coffee, I'm ready to face the day with a card share for you! You ready? :)

This eyeglass design was created with Doodlebug Design's new Day to Day collection. I'm having a great time with all the eyeglass accents included in this line. And you know what? A couple weeks ago when I was at Archivers, I found an eyeglass die set from Taylored Expressions! Now I can create as many pairs of eyes I care to! :) Imagine the possibilities!

Before I get started on my next craft project, I have a winner to announce for last Friday's Halloween giveaway. Congratulations goes to Sandy Ross! Sandy please use the contact me button on my blog to send me your address. Hope you enjoy your Halloween goodies!

Have a great week everyone!

Pinterest Inspired

Hello! Today over on the Bella Blvd. blog the design team is sharing projects inspired by this Pinterest photo. Currently chevron patterns can be seen everywhere and together with the teal and's so fresh! Feels like home since our walls are the same yellow hue.

For my first card I used a couple of the large chevron print papers from Bella Blvd's new Daily Chevies collection and paired those with some chevron die cuts.

My second card uses the same color scheme, chevrons and hearts. I love the way these cards go together.

What would you create with this Pin-spirational photo? A home decor piece? Scrapbook page? So many possibilities, so little time! ;)

Hope you have a fantastic and crafty day!

Trick or Treat Shadow Box

Did you know that Doodlebug Design sells shadow boxes? They all their signature colors too! Included in my most recent shipment of design team goodies, I received their white 8"x8" shadow box to decorate for you. I have to admit I was a little nervous about this challenge!

I chose the Halloween Parade collection to work with and my nervousness soon dissipated because I just couldn't go wrong with all these bright colors and whimsical Doodlebug images and accents! Do you like? How would you decorate one of these? I wish I had a half dozen more for Christmas, Valentine's Day, July Fourth, etc. Just think of all the possibilities!

Have a wonderful Wednesday! Thanks always for visiting and commenting! :)

I'm supper excited this morning to announce that I'm on the 2013-2014 Bella Blvd. design team! This will be my third year so I was prepared not to see my name on this list. You can just imagine how surprised and happy I am!

It's great to see some familiar faces from last year's team and so many new and talented designers! It's going to be a great year!

I'm looking forward to another year of creating Bella Blvd. projects and sharing them with you! You have been so supportive of my work and I appreciate every comment left and project pinned. You make this hobby/work fun!

Hello Fall!

It's officially fall ya'll so I created this Nuts About You card to kick off the season!

I adore squirrels! We are fortunate to have many residing in our neighborhood. I never get tired of watching them scamper about burying or digging up acorns and chasing one another! In fact, Saturday, on our way home from running errands, one decided to sit in the middle of the street in front of our card eating!  We sat there watching, laughing and waiting for him to move on! :)

When our family from Australia visits they are captivated by squirrels since they don't have any there.

Anyway, I created this adorable squirrel card with the new Happy Harvest collection from Doodlebug Design. There's so much to love about this line, besides the squirrel! ;)

I hope you enjoy every moment of fall! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Oh Baby

T.G.I.F! I have a couple of baby cards to share with you today. Both projects created with a polka dot theme. Babies and polka dots just go together, right?

This first card was made with Bella Blvd's Baby Boy collection. I never tire of making projects with this little chipboard giraffe....he's so darn adorable!

My second card was created with Doodlebug Design's Sugar and Spice line. Just too cute for words! That little frog with his great big eyes is so funny! Makes me smile!

Do you know anyone having a baby? Both cards are for sale in my Etsy shop at just $2.99 each!

I'm off to go have breakfast with the hubs. He took the day off so we could enjoy some one-on-one time together. I love that he does that! :) Enjoy your weekend and thanks for visiting!
